You need to make a skittles games. Very easy to make and super fun. Help get your family together for a simple, fun game, that doesn't need a huge amount of explanation.

What do we need to make a skittle game?

- Glue to double sided sticking tape
- Tape measure and ruler

Let's Start Making A Skittles Game
Step One
First, to make a skittles game, we need to use our tape measure to measure around the bottles we have. The measurement around the bottle is called the circumference. Once we know this length around the bottle, we can make our own labels with numbers on them.
So take your paper and make sure you can make a strip that is as long as the circumference. Add a few extra cms to the length of the strip. So when you wrap it around the bottle the ends of the strip will overlap.
Now think about how high you want the label to be and make this the width of the strip. Because your plastic bottle you have will be different from mine, there is no exact measurements for this.
Don't worry just try and make one label and if it is not right, just try again. Use this first label as a template to draw around for the other labels.

Step Two
Now we can cut out these strips. Check they wrap around the bottles and overlap slightly on the other side. These strips will be our new labels when we make a skittles game.
Now we can use the crayons and felt-tip pens to decorate each rectangle.

Now you can add numbers if you like. Each skittle can be worth a different value. Or skittles can just be numbered and worth one point each. It's your game, you can play it the way you like.

Now all we need to do is wrap our labels around each bottle. Glue the ends together with glue or sticky tape.
Hopefully you have a few bottles to line up. Now you can just use a ball of wool or any ball to knock them down.
See how far you can stand away from your skittles before it starts to get a little harder. If you want to make it even harder, you can add a little weight into each bottle. Maybe some plasticine.
If you want to make it even more harder, add more weights to the bottles with higher points. These won't fall over as easily and so are worth more points.
When you make a skittles game it can be sure fun to make, but it's also super fun to even play. What better way to spend a rainy weekend day.
