Enlarge the three motifs by the amount you want and trace them onto separate pieces of tracing paper. Cut them out. Place the large motif and the hand on the reverse side of the henna felt and the small motif on the reverse of the mahogany felt. Trace around the outlines using a gel pen. Cut out the motifs inside the markings using embroidery scissors.

Refer to the picture as a guide to making the two bracelets. Thread a needle with henna thread and tie a knot at the end. Pass the needle through from the back of the fabric, 3mm (1/8in) from the edge of the wrist on the left-hand side, to the right side of the fabric.

Thread the red beads and costume beads onto the thread as indicated. Pass back through the fabric on the right side of the wrist, come out at the back, and tie a knot to secure the bracelet. Use the same technique to create the shorter seed bead bracelet, this time using a beading needle. Also, use this technique to make the ring.

Outline the mahogany felt shape with a couching stitch using six strands of silver stranded cotton for the laid thread and one strand, threaded through a chenille needle, for the tying stitch. Position the Hand of Fatima in the center of this piece of felt and sew the two layers together with a running stitch around the edge of the hand.

Apply silver relief paint around the outline of the large henna felt shape and let it dry for two hours. Create holes all around the motif using a punch. Make the holes irregular to capture the handmade essence.

Apply glue to the reverse of the mahogany felt with the hand sewn on and place it on the large henna motif. Loop the lurex cord around the tassel and attach it to the back.
