Start Making Our Felt Party Bags
Step 1 — Prepare Your Pieces
Enlarge the tulip shape to the size you want and trace it onto Bristol board. Cut it out. Trace the two dragonflies and transfer them onto Bristol board. Cut them out. Place the tulip template on the orange felt and trace the outline twice using a fabric pen.
Trace the templates for the large and small dragonflies on the orange felt in the same way. Cut out the four shapes. Apply a layer of glitter gel over the wings of the large dragonfly and allow it to dry for at least four hours.
Step 2 — Create the Tulip Pouch
Use the heart-shaped punch to create nine hearts from the pale pink felt. Create three small flowers on one of the tulip shapes by sewing three hearts together three times. Sew a white sequin into the center of each flower, secured in place by an orange bead. Sew one or two white sequins between the felt flowers, with an orange bead.
Cut the velvet ribbon into two pieces. Sew a length of ribbon onto the wrong side of each of the felt tulips, one on each side of the center petal, forming two handles. Join the two tulips together with fabric glue or by sewing with a small running stitch, staying 2mm (3/32in) from the edge.

Step 3 — Assemble the Felt Party Bags
Cut the piece of tulle in half. Sew the small dragonfly onto the bottom right-hand corner of the dusty pink felt.
Attach two orange beads to the head of the large dragonfly to create eyes. Sew the large dragonfly onto a piece of tulle using orange perle cotton, leaving the wings free.
Add a few horizontal stitches over the body of the dragonfly. Place the rectangle of tulle with the dragonfly over the rectangle of pink felt with the dragonfly, and position the second tulle rectangle underneath. The tulle pieces are slightly larger than the felt.
Join the three pieces at the base and sides. At the top, only attach the felt and the piece of tulle with the dragonfly. Insert small treats between the felt and the other layer of tulle. Tie the bag with a large bow using the orange organdie ribbon.
