How To Make A Pebble Owl Family
Painting pebbles is one of those things that is really fun to do the whole way through. Collecting the pebbles is fun. Deciding the characters is fun. The painting is fun and the playing and displaying the finished pebble family of owls is super fun.

What do we need to make a parliament of pebble owls?
- Smooth pebbles, different sizes
- White acrylic paint
- Paintbrush
- Paints of different colours
- Felt tip paint pens
- Varnish
Start Making Our Pebble Owl Family
Step One
The first thing to do is make sure our pebbles are clean and dry. Then we can decide which is going to be the front of our pebbles and how many you are going to have in your family.
Maybe paint a pebble to match all members of your real family.
Sometimes pebbles might have a funny hole or shape that will help us make a funny character. Once we have decided which pebbles we are going to paint. Let's start by painting the front of them all white.
Let the white paint dry.
Next For Our Pebble Owl Family
Step Two
Now we can add some features to our funny pebble owls. Use the felt-tip paint pens or a small paintbrush and start painting some details.
Start with the eyes and paint patterns and flower shapes for more details. Paint large eyes and a small beak for our owl face.
Use bright colours and have fun painting. If you make a mistake don't worry. Let it dry, then paint over it with white and start again.

Step Three
Continue painting details, add in some owl feet and some wings and some other bright shapes and patterns. Have fun making a brightly coloured owl.

How To Finish Your Pebble Owl Family
Step Four
Finally, we can finish painting our fun little owls. Let all the paint dry. If you want you can add a layer of protection and give them a coat of varnish.
The last thing to do is to line up your fun little pebble owl family and display them somewhere you can see them.
