You Know You Want To Make This Snap Card Game
My children really love crafting and playing games, so we made this simple snap card game using colourful card and colourful paint. You can choose whatever colours and designs that you like for yours. My children and their cousins have been having so much fun playing this snap card game.
It is great for playing on days when they don't want to play outside, it is also good for them to play in the back of the car on long car journeys, or on holiday as a travel game in the evenings.

Making Cardboard Stencils
1st Stage
Begin by measuring and cutting out four pieces of stencil cardboard that measure 6cm X 9cm. Alternatively if you already have four different stencils, you can use those and skip the 1st and 2nd stages.
2nd Stage
Then draw a different design on each of the pieces. And carefully cut your design out using the craft knife and cutting mat. The designs can be as simple or as complicated as you wish.
Fun Snap Card Game For Children
3rd Stage
Next cut out some rectangles from coloured paper that also measure 6cm X 9cm. Put the first stencil design on one of the rectangles. Then use a sponge to dab some contrasting coloured paint over the stencil until the cut out section is completely covered in paint.
Then carefully remove the stencil to avoid smudging the paint. Do this same method with all of the stencils until you have made enough cards for your card game. Now glue each of the stencilled rectangles onto a slightly larger piece of card, and allow them to dry thoroughly.
Now you have a fun snap card game to play.
