A Little Piece Of Magic Is In This Rose Petal Confetti Box
This cute rose petal confetti box is perfect for a wedding or other celebration or special occasion. You can decorate your confetti box however you like, maybe in the bride and grooms chosen wedding colours, as it could be lovely to keep as a memory of their special day.
Also, if you have roses growing in your garden, you can dry the petals out a bit and use those for the rose petal confetti. It is really simple and fun to make. You can even use it as a gift bag instead if you wish to, as it is the perfect size for holding smaller gifts.

- Double Sided Sticky Tape

Painting A Decorative Confetti Box
Stage 1
Start by finding a template of a box or bag that you like, then trace over the template, you can enlarge it in size if you wish. Lay the confetti box template onto the card or stiff paper, draw around it and carefully cut it out.
Then dampen the card and paint on circular pink shapes and let the colour bleed out into the card. Leave it to completely dry. Then use gold ink to paint more circular shapes on top. You can however paint any shapes or designs that you wish for your confetti box.
Stage 2
Next, lay the painted card onto a cutting mat. Then use the metal ruler and a blunt knife to score the fold lines of the confetti box.
Assembling The Box And Threading The Ribbon
Stage 3
Now, use the sharp craft knife to carefully score and cut the slits for the ribbon.
Stage 4
Then cut a length of double sided sticky tape and stick it to the side of the tab. Peel off the backing and overlap the tab to stick it in place. Then fold under the bottom edge and thread the ribbon through the slits that you just made.
Finally fill the confetti box with rose petal confetti and close it by tying the ribbon into a bow. Now it is perfect for use at a wedding or other celebration or special occasion.
