It is really simple and fun to make. But surprisingly effective and professional looking. You can choose any plain coloured wrapping paper to put your star sign design onto. Try this star sign gift wrap and let us know how you get on.

Start by drawing a template of your star sign design onto piece of paper or cardboard. Then place the piece of acetate over the top and trace the outline of your design onto the acetate using the black marker pen.

Next, carefully cut out your stencil from the acetate using a craft knife and cutting mat. This is the foundation of our star sign gift wrap.

Now, decide on the positioning of your designs on the plain wrapping paper. You can mark this lightly onto the paper with a pencil if you wish, as it can make it easier to remember your layout. Then position the stencil, using masking tape to hold it down in position if needed.

Next, use the stencil paint brush to stipple the design with the black acrylic paint. Carefully lift the stencil off, and repeat this technique for the rest of the layout. If any paint seeps under the edges of the acetate, wipe it off before repositioning the stencil. Allow your paper to dry, then you can use it to wrap a gift.
