Making Cute Heart Frames From Pulped Paper
This is a really fun project to do using pulped colourful sugar paper to make some cute heart frames. You can choose any colour that you like. And it doesn't necessarily have to be hearts, it could be circles, squares, stars, flowers, etc.
I just have some small heart cake tins to hand, so I wanted to try it out. Pulped paper can be a really strong material for making things out of. Have a go at this fun crafting tutorial and even if you end up with a cute blob shaped frame, that will still be fun.

Making Pulped Paper With Sugar Paper
1st Stage
To start, for each of the heart frames, tear up the sugar paper into small pieces and put it into a bowl. Carefully, pour on some boiling water and leave it to cool down. Then break up the paper using your hands or you can use a liquidiser instead. And remember to drain off any excess water.
2nd Stage
Get your mould, small cake tins make the perfect moulds, I am using heart shaped ones. Then line each cake tin using kitchen foil.

3rd Stage
Next, place a small bottle cap into each of the heart moulds, then pack around it with the pulped paper. Make sure that you press as much water out as possible, then continue adding the pulped paper.
4th Stage
Once the pulped paper is level with the top of the bottle cap, put a larger bottle cap centrally on top of it to create a rebate in the heart frames. Then pack more paper pulp around it to the top of the tin. Again remember to drain off any extra water.

5th Stage
Now, lift the kitchen foil out of the mould and carefully remove it from the paper heart frames. Then leave it to dry thoroughly, this may take a little time, between 2 and 4 days depending on the temperature etc.
6th Stage
Once completely dry, glue a loop of paper ribbon to the back of each of the heart frames, so that they can hang. And finally tape a picture to the rebate.
