How To Make Comfrey Massage Oil
This is actually comfrey and arnica massage oil and is excellent for tired and weary muscles. The ingredients are excellent for alleviating aches and pains associated with sports or physical exercise. Comfrey is good at healing bruises an strains and can actually help to regenerate the skin in damaged areas.
St John's wort is another excellent ingredient for helping to repair the skin. It is excellent as an anti-inflammatory and antiviral treatment. It can also be used to help treat depression and anxiety as well as healing scrapes and cuts or even simply itchy skin.
Arnica is another wonder oil, good for bruises and aches and pains associated with sports injuries.
Note in the ingredients there are two different blends of essential oils. You can swap these out depending on the Comfrey Massage Oil you want to make.
Ingredients for comfrey massage oil
- 2 teaspoons or 10ml comfrey oil
- 2 teaspoons or 10ml arnica oil
- 2 teaspoons or 10ml St John's wort oil
- 4 teaspoons or 20ml avocado oil
- 45ml almond oil
- 1 teaspoon or 5ml vitamin E
- 20-40 drops essential oils
Blend for relaxing
- 6 drops lavender
- 6 drops geranium
- 4 drops clary sage
- 4 drops bergamot
Blend for sports
- 4 drops coriander
- 2 drops ginger
- 4 drops black pepper
- 6 drops orange
- 4 drops cedarwood
