How To Make Homemade Lemon Handwash
This is a wonderful recipe for a homemade handwash. With the main ingredients being rosemary and lemon. Both ingredients have fantastic antibacterial properties as well as smelling amazing of course. The beautiful handwash smell helps to hide any unwanted aromas.
Here we use a rosemary infusion as one of the main ingredients in our homemade lemon handwash recipe. But you could actually customise this recipe and use a different herb. Try experimenting and creating your own version. Note different herbs will have different properties. Calendula and chamomile are good for sensitive skins, as is lavender. We have also included glycerin and aloe vera for its skin soothing and moisture reducing properties.

First get one of your glass jars ready. We can spoon in the correct qualities of the Plantapon and Lamesoft.
Now We Can Get The Rosemary Infusion Mixture Ready
Step Two
Now get your other glass jug ready. Add in to the other jug the the correct quantities of rosemary infusion we made earlier. Add to the rosemary infusion the glycerin and the aloe vera. Stir all the ingredients together well using the metal spoon.
Combine The Contents Of The Two Glass Jars
Step Three
Now we can carefully and slowly start pouring the rosemary influsion mixture into the Plantpon and Lamesoft mixture. As you pour carefully mix all the ingredients together. Make sure they are blending well and do not stir too vigorously, we do not want to introduce air into the mixture.
Finally Add In The Essential Oils To Our Homemade Lemon Handwash
Step Four
Finally add the last ingredients. Add the preservative and the essential oils. Make sure to mix again carefully. Again we do not want to create any foam or add air to the mixture.
Now We Can Adjust The pH Level Of Our Homemade Lemon Handwash
Step Five
Now use one of your pH test strips and gently dip it into the combined mixture. Once the strip has changed colour check it again the colour scale and read the pH level. If the pH is above pH 5.5, then we need to add a few drops of lactic acid.
Retest The pH Level of Our Handmade Lemon Handwash
