I have been given quite a lot of tile samples from my friend who is an interior designer. As they are samples, they are mostly mismatched tiles. I was wondering what can I make with mismatched tile samples? I have a lot of patterned tiles like in the picture I have taken and attached below and some plain tiles also. I really like them, so I really want to make something beautiful with them. Plus I have a bit of time on my hands now that I have pretty much retired.

My friend said she will have a lot more when she sorts out her material sample drawers. She may have some metallic tiles to give me also. Me the crafter, who doesn't like to see things going to waste, said that I would love to take them. I just need to figure out what I can make with them. I have mostly black, white, neutral and blue colours to work with. I think that the designs and colours look quite Mediterranean. Also, they are some of my favourite colours.

I have thought that these style of tiles may look good kind as a sort of mosaic on an outdoor bistro table or something similar. I also thought about a mosaic bird bath, but I am not really sure how it would work or if I could achieve that. I did also think about having a load of mismatched tiles on my hallway floor, but I would need quite a lot more of them in the same sort of designs and colours to cover the whole floor area.

Any ideas as to what I can do with these beautiful tile samples, would be really appreciated. If anyone has made anything using tiles, tile samples, or tile offcuts, I would love to see what you have made.
