Help, is anyone else addicted to collecting beads?

Question Asked:
It was my husband who started all of this. He said I should get a hobby, something I can really get into. Something creative, that will keep my mind active and keep my fingers busy. So he actually took me shopping to the local craft shop and we had fun looking all around at everything and I settled on making some fun jewellery with the kids and we bought a load of beads.
In hindsight, now, that was probably a big mistake. We did have loads of fun making things with our children, little bangles and necklaces and the poor hubbie had to wear endless things to work that the kids had made. But it was fun. Then the kids grew out of it and I started finding really good deals online for more and more beads. And even managed to sell a few bracelets here and there and that was really exciting.
They I got my first plastic box and I thought I'm never going to fill this big box. But I kept finding more and more deals on the internet and friends and family started buying me beads and the hubbie really encouraged me... at the beginning...
Anyway, five year later and the kids have got bored of making bead things and I have now found myself running out of beads to buy and have now started adding buttons into the mix. I have to admit I am thinking it is slightly getting out of hand. I still sell some of the things I make on Etsy. But not really in the quantities that justifies having all these mountains of boxes of beads.
I just really like collecting them and I don't really know why. They are just so pretty. I actually have an auntie who is just as crazy with those die cutting shapes for card making. She has like a thousand of them and they are really expensive. So maybe it just runs in the family.
So to make myself feel better, I was wondering if there was anyone else out there who was willing to admit they had gone a bit crazy with collecting of things for their hobby?
Or am I all on my own?
