My friend does these amazing drip effect mugs. She makes them completely herself, even the mug and I have never seen anything else like this effect.

She is so talented.

The drip effect on the mugs sort of looks like melting ice-cream or frosting, its amazing and a real talking point. They are very chunky mugs and I think this means they keep your coffee warmer for longer in the morning. Each one, of course, is completely unique and individual. And it's lovely to hold something in your hand that someone has actually cared about and enjoyed creating. Rather than something that is just mass-produced.

As I am getting older I am finding myself moving away from mass-produced everything and really enjoy finding more beautiful, hand-crafted, artisan pieces.

I'm not exactly sure how she makes them, but I know it takes a long time and is quite tricky. I really should get her to come on here and show off more of her creations and let her explain how she does this effect.

But just wanted to say thanks to her and to show off her amazing talent. What a nice friend to have.
