So I came home one day and my wife was sitting in the garage, surrounded by broken crockery and pottery and teacups and lots of other things. I didn't know whether to call the Police or a doctor.
Anyway, she has always been very creative and it only took me a moment to realise this was another one of her "projects". She had that look in her eye, that says "Don't you dare say a thing!"
But to be fair, the pictures I am showing here are the end project. And when I first saw it, it did look like we had been burgled. Or she had had a fit and smashed up everything we owned. So what was I supposed to think?
Anyway, she is slightly crazy, but in a cool way and I know everything she makes ends up being a real talking point. And I really think she should start angling towards trying to sell some of the things she makes. If nothing more than to get the mess out of the house! Only joking, I think she definitely has talent, I dunno, what do you think?
Anyway, all jokes aside, I am actually really proud of her and her creations. She said a friend of hers had found a load of interesting tiles and things in a thrift shop. And an old coffee table. And so they had got to work on getting it all into our garage and starting this creation.
When I saw it finished I actually said to her, did she even need the coffee table. She could have just made a work of art and framed it and we could have hung it on the wall.
I could immediately see her brain start whirring again and she did tell me she still had a load of tile pieces left over. So I guess there goes my tidy garage for another month. But as long as she is happy, I am happy.
She has made so many amazing, cool and beautiful things and not that many people get to see them. Only our friends and family really. So I really wanted to start posting some things here, so other people can actually enjoy them too.
Thanks for reading.
