I have always wanted to have a go at digital artwork, working with loads of bright and fun vibrant colours. I saw something similar in style to what I would like to achieve in a local antique and vintage store. I have attached some pictures below of the kind of things I would like to do. I guess it is like a poster style with blocks of flat colour. I also like the idea of making some pop art style prints.

I was wondering what is the best way to create colourful digital artwork for printing? I already have a computer, but would like to get some recommendations for free or reasonably affordable drawing software where I would be able to produce my artwork? Also, does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations as to how or where I can get high resolution pictures printed please? Either recommendations for a printer that I can buy for my home or printing services that I can buy online and have the prints posted to me.

My plan is to learn to design colourful art prints, try a few designs, and then try to sell prints. Obviously I will make sure that they are all my own designs. I love using bright colours, it always makes me feel happy.
