Stencil Wrapping Paper Has The Wow Factor
I always remember having loads of fun stencilling as a child, I used to have a huge box full of them. For this stencilled wrapping paper project, you can either buy a pre cut stencil or make your own. You can choose any design that you like.
There is a huge range of different ones to buy in DIY shops and craft shops. This is a great way to personalise wrapping paper. So let's start making some stencil wrapping paper. Also, I have lots of gift wrapping tutorials, so please feel free to have a look at my other posts.

Stencilling On To Wrapping Paper
Stage 1
To start making your stencil wrapping paper, first, lay out your wrapping paper and place the stencil in one corner and make sure that you line it up to the edges of the paper. Then, dilute the paint slightly with water on the saucer or plate, and soak it up with the natural sponge.
Next, dab the sponge a little onto the paper towel to remove any excess paint. Then use the sponge to apply paint through the stencil.
Stage 2
Now, you need to repeat the pattern across the whole piece of wrapping paper. Once you have completed the first row, position the stencil on the next row in the middle of the two above to create a pattern.
Wrapping A Gift With Stencil Wrapping Paper
Stage 3
If you find any obvious blank spaces, you can fill them in with smaller floral parts of the stencil.
Stage 4
Finally, choose a lovely piece of ribbon to wrap around the gift and tie a beautiful bow to finish it off. Now you have a beautifully wrapped gift with your stencil wrapping paper and a lovely bow.
